Dear Clients,

We wanted to inform you of a change in procedures at Apple Creek.  In the interest of social distancing and all of our safety we have changed to the “curbside” appointment protocol like most other veterinary practices.  Simply put, we ask that you remain in your vehicle to minimize face to face contact.  We will review your concerns before bringing your pet in for its examination and any needed care.  We can review the procedure with you when you call to schedule.

We are still limited to providing only essential care for sick and emergent patients.

Our hours are limited to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9am to 5pm, with appointment hours from 10am to 4pm.  Medications or prescription diets can be picked up on these days only.

If you or any member of your household is sick, please arrange for a friend or agent to bring your pet in for the appointment.  You will need to be available by phone during the appointment time.

In the event of an emergency outside our availability, please contact the Pet Emergency Treatment and Specialty Hospital at 717-295-7387 or go to https://www.lancasterpetemergency.com/

There are concerns about what COVID-19 means for us and our pets.  Worldwide, there are only two dogs and one cat that have tested positive for the corona virus.  Infectious disease experts and the World Health Organization still agree there is no evidence that pets can spread it to people or other animals.  Your pet could only be exposed to COVID from an infected person.  That person is the source of infection you need to be concerned about.
